About this hub: a quick reference for the systems staff use most —it doesn't cover everything. If you can't find what you need, contact the IT Help Desk and we'll help or point you in the right direction.

Systems & Who to Contact
Most systems use your Burdekin Microsoft account. If a login doesn't work:
If managed by IT, try a password reset first or log a ticket.
If managed by another team, reach out to the relevant team.
Enter your Burdekin email and verify with your registered methods
Set a new password that meets the policy, then sign in again 1 capital, 1 lower case, 1 number and 1 symbol — minimum 8 characters
You'll need the Microsoft Authenticator app to reset your password. If your Burdekin Microsoft account is locked out, go through the same password reset to unlock it.
Need to update your MFA or register a new phone or authenticator? Go here: aka.ms/mfasetup. Keep them up to date so you're never locked out.
Never share your password or approve an MFA prompt you didn't request.

Quick Help
Golden rule — restart first. Save your work and restart the device; it clears most issues before anything else.
Printers: if you're missing a printer or can't print, log a ticket with IT.
Meeting room issues: read the laminated sheet located in each room to see how to use the room.
Spot phishing: watch for unexpected links, urgency, unusual senders, or requests for logins or payment. When in doubt, don't click.
Report it: use the Report button in Outlook to report suspicious emails.
Protect client data: only access what you need. For anything involving YP records or SmarterSoft, use a Burdekin-issued device only and store files in SharePoint — never on personal devices or USB drives.
Lock your screen (Windows key + L) whenever you step away from your desk.
Privacy: handle personal and client information in line with Burdekin's Policies & Procedures.
Suspect a breach, scam or lost device? Call the IT Help Desk on 02 8976 1799 immediately and notify your manager. Acting fast limits harm.
